In February 2018 Paul Segal was diagnosed with multiple myeloma/bone marrow cancer and told he had one year to live.

If he did chemo, he’d live another two to seven years.

Paul discussed his options with his children and close friends, and decided not to follow the medical path; instead, he followed a natural-healing path, which included a period in Mexico at a health retreat.

His son, an emerging documentary-maker, travelled with him recording his journey in a soon-to-be-released film called One Year to Live

Paul decided to embrace life in this ‘last year’, and his story is truly inspiring. I hope you enjoy this interview, yet another in a series about people recovering from cancer and other confronting ills.
