Once upon a time I was brought up in a Jewish family. I remember going to synagogue and having very mixed feelings: I loved the Hebrew songs and community but was discomfited by the vengeful God and the hypocrisies I observed. As a young adult, I walked away from the whole thing.

I explored other religions and philosophies a bit, felt that JC was an inspiring leader but wasn’t drawn to the ‘Son of God’ story. Buddhism resonated but I didn’t go down any particular path. I began my personal growth journey in my early 20s, which included studying NLP and becoming a trainer on Discovery, an accelerated learning, personal development program for teenagers.

Then I had my own kids and was completely absorbed in that journey, especially as we chose to home educate. Parenting challenges drove me to discover Dr John Demartini, whose work joined the dots between many of my ideas and philosophies, and I embraced his messages – e.g. the Law of Polarity; the fact that the world is our mirror; that our values drive our perception and life purpose…

I also continued to explore fringe ideas, such as those presented in the Zeitgeist Movies (9/11 conspiracy, fiat currency, mythical/religious characters recurring over time), which all planted seeds that have been borne out by current events.

Right now, I’m reading a book called Not In His Image by John Lamb Lash. The subtitle is Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology and the Future of Belief, and while I’m not even halfway through it, I wanted to let you know about it! I’m going to share a few snippets (below) because they are intriguing and so relevant, and more down the track once I’ve finished reading.

But first, a few other bits of news or information that I’d like to share:

MyPlace Jimboomba now has a steering committee and will run its first event in March. The purpose is to bring people together to share and learn, especially anything relevant to us flourishing in the years ahead. (I.e. organic growing/food security; the principles of Natural Law that enable us to live as free men and women rather than being subject to excessive government (ref. Covid!); financial education; home-education support; health support, and practical actions we can take to deal with impending challenges such as 20-minute SMART cities, 5G, Central Bank Digital Currencies, ‘Climate Change’, fraudulent government, and ongoing ‘medical emergencies’.) https://myplaceaustralia.org

• Please check out  ‘Australia Exits the W.H.O.’ regarding the World Health Organisation’s outrageous attempt to establish a world government by making each country sign up to their absurd ‘pandemic’ rules. https://australiaexitsthewho.com (Azradale substack lists 100 reasons to exit, if you are substack reader!)

• The Australian government has written a letter advising doctors and pharmacists that they may be responsible for covid vax injuries – i.e. they have no legal indemnity. There’s a seven-minute news item about this on Del Bigtree’s ‘The Highwire’.

• This next sobering video is about the United Nations. They stand alongside the WEF in the attempt to control the world/set themselves up as a world government. www.stopworldcontrol.com/UNevent

‘What 5G Really Means’ from former Royal Navy Microwave Weapons Expert, Barrie Trower: https://fb.watch/ivYe8lsrpw/?mibextid=j8LeHn (20 min.) or watch the whole presentation here:

The activist group ‘We are not SAM’ say:

“This week we uncovered that Melbourne, Australia is the new testing ground for 26,000 MHz millimetre wave 5G technology.

“We know that the telecommunications industry has never tested or proven safety on millimetre waves at 26,000 MHz.

“Even before 5G, over 2000 peer-reviewed reports show biological harm from 3G and 4G wireless technology. Hence, why no insurance company will cover this technology, ever.”

And now for the rest of my blog:

THE REDEEMER MODEL IS CRACKED

I always knew that the Judaeo-Christian Bible many of us are familiar with, whether Old or New Testament, was not the whole story – that there are more books that have been suppressed (e.g. those hidden below the Vatican), and edits to the current books (e.g. those made by the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D.). Most of us have probably heard about the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, but how many of us know what they revealed?

What I’ve been learning is that those and other ancient scrolls reveal ‘herstory’. If ‘history’ is the tale of the victor, then we can’t entirely trust that version without balancing it with the rest of the story.

It turns out that in the very deep past, “the Zaddikim, a messianic sect, became an implement of world domination by demolishing the ancient institutions of learning, the Mysteries, and persecuting the Gnostics who founded them, along with the Druids and other shamanic visionaries of Europe, North Africa and the Near East.” [Quoted from the back cover of Not In His Name]

They introduced a patriarchal, theocratic (rulership by gods or descendants of gods), salvationist model that was very much a political system set up to control others and, ultimately, the masses. This ‘Redeemer complex’ has four components:

1. Creation of the world by the male creator god;

2. the selection of a righteous few to fulfil a divine plan;

3. the mission of the creator’s son (the messiah) in the plan;

4. and the final, apocalyptic judgement in which the world is destroyed so that the righteous can be saved by the accomplishment of divine retribution.

Being Jewish, I was told that I belonged to the ‘Chosen People’; when I walked away from that religion, I discovered another version of it in Christianity: anyone who accepts Jesus will be saved.

While I believed that it was the Christian model that claimed people were sinners who would achieve their glory in the afterlife (if they repented and accepted Jesus as their saviour), Judaism also warns about being good if you want to have your name ‘inscribed in the Book of Life’. If you’re an Orthodox Jew, there are some 600 rules that you must follow that govern every single detail of your life. The ‘reframing’ of these incredible expectations is simply that God ‘sets a higher bar for the Jews because we are the Chosen People’… But note that the reward is always in the afterlife. (Ditto Hinduism – or the next incarnation.)

The people, being sinners (or weighed under by 600+ rules), can never win.

Lash asks: “What kind of world results if the power to dominate and control others, inflicting enormous suffering in the process, is sanctioned by a divine being who can at the same time redeem that suffering and release the perpetrators and their victims from that world’s evils?”

I think we know what kind of world. We are living in it today.

The result of generations of abuse is the victim-perpetrator bond, where “the causing of pain – destructiveness and abuse – flows out of a prior wounding”. (We can point to genocide after genocide, the most recent being the current one/s.)

By contrast, “the mythologies of the indigenous peoples of the world were devoid of a sense of sin. They participated in the natural world and could achieve their own salvation using individual mind and will and not submitting to anything preordained.”

Pagan teachers such as the Druids “taught that the ideal for people was to live in harmony with nature and themselves, accepting that pain and death were not evils but essential… and that the only evil was moral weakness.”

Sounds like a balanced, common-sense view of life to me. I vote for that one, rather than the unbalanced, patriarchal, salvationist, redeemer, theocratic system that we currently have.

Right now, we are in the midst of a war, and many of us have been holding to a promise of ‘salvation’ – whether through the fulfilment of prophecies such as those described in the Book of Revelations, those spruiked by influencers like Nostradamus, or messages that reach us through psychic channels. Both the Bible and the ‘Galactic Federation’ claim that the pure will be ‘lifted up’ (saved).

Maybe it’s time to walk away from that whole model into a simple and natural life where we live our own private lives; respect ourselves, others and the Earth/all creatures; and stop falling for unjust and harmful models that have no basis in reality. We can lift ourselves out of the muck by lifting our vibration, simply by living honest, ethical, respectful lives.

What do you think? Please share your thoughts below in the ‘Comments’. More on this when I’ve finished the book!
