As a young adult I wrote lots of relationship short stories – a bunch of them coming soon in an anthology! Wanted: Greener Grass is my first novel. As the subtitle says, it’s about ‘love, envy, and a crazy kind of courage’, and I’ve classified it as ‘conscious chick-lit’.

I had my first play (also about relationships) performed in amateur theatre when I was 20. I went on to teach Creative Writing classes and the most popular class was always the first one in which I explain the dynamics of Writer’s Block in a fun, visual kind of way. I decided to capture the ideas in the play, Unplugged. The Dream emerged in a play-writing course in the aftermath of a friend’s death from cancer.
