My mother passed away on 16th October, aged 86. One of our family friends said quietly, at the funeral, “It’s the end of an era.” I’d had the exact same thought when my grandmother passed in 2000. So many endings, all the time, as we move forward inexorably.

See below for a little more about my mum, who had a very tough life and was dedicated to the highest she understood all the way through.
See below for a perspective on what we seem to be moving into.
See below for an update about the musical – my timeline has been completely thrown by the events of the last couple of months.
And, if you’re interested, here’s a link to my next online writing course.
And, if you love beautiful scenery, my videographer son is travelling in Far North Queensland and sharing the journey for family and friends on his YouTube channel, Adventure-Driven Australia.
Mum

| As she has noted… |
My mother was born just before the outbreak of WWII, in Poland, to a Jewish family. She spent her formative years in the ghetto and then on the run and in hiding; followed by years of movement and language barriers as a refugee. The impact of these experiences stayed with her for the rest of her life – it was difficult for her to be spontaneous because she had been trained to be quiet and guarded. But she certainly tried to heal. Mum spoke to rabbis and explored various other spiritual traditions, attended some 90 personal development courses, and undertook several gruelling fasts in her efforts to heal. She changed her name multiple times as her identity evolved. She was a gifted, patient teacher, loved by her Art and Meditation students, and a hardworking student/mature-age graduate.
Now free of the physical, emotional and mental strains, and hopefully in spiritual bliss with her fourth daughter, my sister Suzanne, who died age 24.
What we’re leaving and moving into
There’s no need to rehash the impact the covid years have had on us all. We have definitely moved into a new era, and there are two main ‘flavours’ on offer, it seems:
i) a highly digitised world, driven by ‘AI’, where the future picture is possibly 15-minute SMART cities and a controlled or even virtual reality for many. (*See the river cruise comment below.)
ii) a more nature-oriented reality with a return to Natural Law, living community, growing our own food, and spiritual awakening.
If you’ve been following me over the years, you know how aligned I am with the work of Dr John Demartini, with his message of Divine Order and his Breakthrough Experience® Method for achieving balance and restoring love. I still value all of that, though having watched the evolution of the last few years, I’m wondering now if that balance is as perfect as he says.
I’ve also been learning increasingly from Jason Breshears of Archaix.com, whose work as a chronologist resulted in his conclusion that we are living in a simulation. His research has also led to his view of Yahweh as a mal-intentioned god, by comparison with the true Creator of the universe; and that we are immortal beings who voluntarily enter this construct in order to having experiences for the learning and growth they afford. Our experiences here cannot actually hurt us, despite seeming very real, because this is actually just a dream.
In his view, things here are slanted toward the dark because of that mal-intentioned god (or A.I.) governing his dimension, but he is also strongly of the opinion that there is a benevolent Oversoul and that we have the option to fall in with the Collective, or forge our own individual paths as ‘errants’. This might all sound crazy but his research is thorough and compelling. Two recent interesting podcast guests were Mark Passio (ex-Satanist, re Natural Law) and Mark Devlin (DJ and truth-seeker re recent times and the nature of this reality).
Musical Update
I had set the intention of raising funds for a play reading this November, but quite a few spanners have been thrown into the works:
i) I connected with an old friend, counsellor and Story Consultant in August, who read the musical and raised a few important issues re changes that need to be made to the script.
ii) I was intending to start working on those changes as soon as my husband and I returned from overseas (we spent September in Europe), but then my mother suddenly took a turn for the worst and I was in Melbourne for much of this month.
iii) Our marketer also fell sick while we were overseas and has decided that she must step back from being involved in my projects while she restores her health and resets her priorities…
So I’m going to pause the ‘table read’ until the new draft is ready, some time next year. Meanwhile, donations are still greatly appreciated as we are self-funding until we are able to land any significant grants, philanthropic funding or investment. The GoFundMe campaign is here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-fund-hippocrytic-oath-a-musical-remedy. Thank you.
* River cruise comment: Whilst in Europe, we took a river cruise, and in the first hour or so that we were aboard, met a very friendly German who revealed that he was unexpectedly travelling alone; his Chinese lady friend had been blocked from leaving the country because she had recently attended a rally. He didn’t say what the rally was about, but the story was a stark reminder of the direction that the world is taking unless we tune into our spiritual source and tune out of the madness that is being cooked up…
An affirmation of Jason’s that I like is “I am moored to Source.”
